1. Purpose and Scope

1.1 This Advertiser Disclosure ("Disclosure") explains how commercial relationships with Hotel Partners and third-party advertisers influence the display, ranking, and promotion of listings on Instareservation.com, operated by Hydra Travels Inc. ("Instareservation", "we", "us", or "our").

1.2 This Disclosure applies to search results, featured placements, banner advertisements, and promotional content displayed on the website and mobile application (collectively, the "Platform").

1.3 This Disclosure is provided to help Users understand the commercial basis on which listings and advertisements appear, so that Users can make informed Booking decisions.

2. Our Commercial Model

2.1 Instareservation generates revenue primarily through commission earned from Hotel Partners on completed Bookings, and, to a lesser extent, through advertising fees paid by Hotel Partners and third parties for enhanced visibility on the Platform.

2.2 Because compensation is generally tied to completed Bookings and advertising placement, the commercial relationship between Instareservation and a Hotel Partner may influence where and how a property appears on the Platform, as further described in this Disclosure.

3. Types of Placement

3.1 Listings and content on the Platform fall into the categories described below.

4. How Search Results Are Ranked

4.1 Organic search results are ordered using a combination of factors, which may include the following.

• Price and value relative to comparable properties for the selected dates.
• User ratings and review volume.
• Historical Booking conversion and cancellation rates for the property.
• Availability and relevance to the User's search filters.
• The commission rate agreed with the Hotel Partner, which may be weighted alongside the factors above.

4.2 No single factor determines ranking in isolation, and the relative weighting of these factors may be adjusted from time to time to improve overall search quality and relevance.

4.3 A higher commission rate paid by a Hotel Partner may improve, but does not guarantee, that property's position within organic search results, and is never the sole determining factor.

5. Sponsored and Paid Placements

5.1 Hotel Partners may pay an additional fee, on a cost-per-click, cost-per-booking, or flat-fee basis, to appear in a sponsored position within search results or in a featured module, separate from their organic ranking.

5.2 Sponsored and featured placements are clearly labelled as such, in accordance with the labelling convention set out in Section 3.1, and are visually distinguished from organic results.

5.3 Payment for a sponsored placement does not affect the accuracy of the information displayed for that property, including price, availability, and cancellation terms, which remain subject to the same verification standards as organic listings.

6. Third-Party Advertising Networks

6.1 We may serve advertisements from third-party advertising networks on the Platform. Such advertisements are selected by the relevant network based on its own targeting criteria, which may include Cookie-based interest profiling, as described in the Cookie Policy.

6.2 We do not control the content of third-party advertisements served through such networks and are not responsible for the products, services, or claims made in them.

7. Price Comparison Features

7.1 Where the Platform displays a comparison between our rate and a rate available elsewhere, such comparison is based on data available to us at the time of display and may not reflect real-time pricing on the compared website.

7.2 We do not receive payment from a third-party website in exchange for a favourable price comparison result, and price comparison displays are not influenced by advertising relationships.

8. Reviews and Ratings Independence

8.1 User reviews and ratings displayed on the Platform are not influenced by whether a Hotel Partner purchases advertising or a sponsored placement.

8.2 A Hotel Partner cannot pay to remove a negative review or to alter its average rating. Removal of a review occurs only where it violates the content standards described in the Terms and Conditions.

9. Editorial and Affiliate Content

9.1 Destination guides, blog articles, and similar editorial content published on the Platform may contain links to Hotel Partner listings that generate commission for us upon a resulting Booking.

9.2 Editorial content is labelled as containing affiliate links where applicable, and the presence of such links does not, by itself, indicate endorsement of the quality of a property beyond the factual content presented.

10. No Influence on Booking Terms

10.1 Advertising or sponsorship arrangements do not affect the cancellation terms, refund eligibility, or fulfilment obligations applicable to a Booking, which remain governed by the Cancellation and Refund Policy and Fulfilment Policy irrespective of a property's placement on the Platform.

11. Advertising Standards Compliance

11.1 We aim to ensure that all sponsored content, price displays, and promotional claims comply with applicable advertising and consumer protection law, including requirements relating to clear labelling of paid content and truthful pricing.

11.2 Users who believe a listing or advertisement on the Platform is misleading or non-compliant may report it through the contact details in Section 13.

12. Changes to this Disclosure

12.1 We may update this Disclosure from time to time to reflect changes in our commercial model or ranking methodology. The "Effective Date" at the top of this Disclosure indicates when it was last revised.
