1. Overview and Purpose

1.1 This Price Match Promise ("Promise") describes the circumstances in which Hydra Travels Inc., operating Instareservation.com ("Instareservation", "we", "us", or "our"), will match a lower publicly available rate for an identical Booking and the process by which a User ("you") may submit a claim.

1.2 This Promise is a discretionary commercial commitment offered in addition to, and not in substitution for, any statutory right a User may hold. It does not form part of the contractual Terms and Conditions unless expressly incorporated by reference, and may be withdrawn, suspended, or amended at our discretion, subject to Section 11.

1.3 This Promise applies only to Bookings made directly through the Instareservation website or mobile application, using a valid payment method, and does not extend to Bookings made through a third-party travel agent, corporate portal, or offline channel.

2. Eligibility Criteria

2.1 A price match claim is eligible for review only where all of the following conditions are satisfied at the time of submission.

2.2 A claim that does not satisfy each criterion in the table above will not qualify for a price match and may be declined without further review.

2.3 Eligibility is assessed independently for each Booking. A single price comparison cannot be applied across multiple Bookings, Accounts, or properties, even where the underlying travel dates are similar.

3. What Qualifies as a Comparable Rate

3.1 A comparable rate may be sourced from any of the following.

• The official website of the Hotel Partner.
• Another recognised third-party online travel booking platform.
• A live screenshot or shareable link showing the comparison rate, date and time of capture, and full booking conditions.

3.2 The following sources do not qualify as a comparable rate for the purposes of this Promise.

• Rates requiring membership in a loyalty, corporate, or negotiated rate program.
• Opaque or bid-based booking models where the property name is not disclosed prior to purchase.
• Package rates that bundle accommodation with flights, car rental, or other services.
• Rates displayed in a currency requiring an unfavourable or non-standard conversion method.
• Rates that have expired, sold out, or are no longer bookable at the time of verification.

4. How to Submit a Price Match Claim

4.1 A claim may be submitted through the following steps.

• (a) Complete the Booking on Instareservation for the property, dates, and room type in question.
• (b) Submit a price match claim through the Account dashboard or customer support channel, within the timeframe specified in Section 8.
• (c) Provide the comparison website name, direct link, screenshot, and the total price inclusive of taxes and fees for the comparable rate.
• (d) Retain the Booking Confirmation number, which is required to process any approved claim.

5. Verification Process

5.1 Upon submission, we will verify the claim against the eligibility criteria in Section 2 and the comparable rate at the time of review, which may differ from the rate available at the time of the original Booking due to dynamic pricing.

5.2 Verification is typically completed within 24 to 48 hours of submission. We may request additional information or a live link to complete verification.

5.3 A claim will be declined if the comparison rate cannot be independently verified, has changed, or is no longer available at the time of review.

6. Price Match Benefit

6.1 Where a claim is approved, we will provide the remedy described below, at our discretion.

6.2 Refunds or credits issued under this Promise are processed within the timelines described in the Fulfilment Policy for standard refunds.

6.3 Where a User has a preference between a refund and a Platform credit, that preference should be indicated at the time of claim submission; in the absence of a stated preference, we will apply the remedy that can be actioned most quickly, having regard to the payment method and Booking status.

7. Exclusions

7.1 This Promise does not apply in any of the following circumstances.

• The Booking has already been cancelled, modified, or is subject to a completed stay.
• The comparison rate results from a pricing, technical, or currency conversion error on the third-party website.
• The comparison rate is available only through a private, invite-only, or flash-sale promotion of limited duration.
• The claim relates to a Group Booking, corporate rate, or a Booking settled through an invoiced account.
• The price difference is less than the minimum threshold published on the Platform at the time of claim.

8. Timeframe for Claims

8.1 A price match claim must be submitted within 24 hours of the original Booking and, in all cases, prior to the scheduled check-in date.

8.2 Claims submitted after this window, or after check-in, will not be eligible for review.

9. Limitations and Prevention of Abuse

9.1 We reserve the right to limit the number of price match claims approved per User, per Account, or per Booking within any given period.

9.2 We reserve the right to decline, reverse, or recover the benefit of a claim obtained through false information, manipulated screenshots, self-referential listings, or any other fraudulent or abusive conduct, and to suspend the associated Account.

9.3 This Promise is intended for genuine consumer price comparison and may not be used for commercial arbitrage, bulk claims, or systematic rate monitoring.

10. Interaction with Cancellation Policy

10.1 Submission of a price match claim does not cancel, suspend, or modify the underlying Booking, which remains subject to the Cancellation and Refund Policy and the rate conditions selected at the time of Booking.

10.2 Where a Booking is cancelled prior to resolution of a pending claim, the claim will be closed without further action.

11. Changes to this Promise

11.1 We may amend, suspend, or withdraw this Promise, in whole or in part, at any time. Amendments will be posted on the Platform with a revised effective date.

11.2 Claims submitted and approved prior to a change will be honoured under the terms in effect at the time of approval.

12. Evidence Requirements

12.1 To enable efficient verification, evidence submitted in support of a claim should satisfy the following standards.

• (a) The screenshot or link must clearly display the property name, room type, dates, total price, and currency.
• (b) The date and time of capture must be visible or independently ascertainable.
• (c) The evidence must not be edited, cropped in a manner that removes material terms, or sourced from a cached or expired page.

12.2 We reserve the right to independently attempt to locate and verify the comparison rate using the information provided, and are not obliged to rely solely on the evidence submitted by the User.

13. Currency and Tax Considerations

13.1 Where the comparison rate is displayed in a different currency from the Instareservation Booking, the comparison will be converted using the mid-market exchange rate prevailing at the time of claim submission, and not the rate that may have applied at the time of Booking.

13.2 Comparison must be made on a like-for-like, tax-inclusive basis. A claim will be declined where the comparison rate excludes mandatory taxes or resort fees that are included in the Instareservation price, or vice versa, unless the claimed difference is adjusted accordingly.

14. Interaction with the Loyalty Program

14.1 Where a User redeems loyalty points or a loyalty-tier discount as part of a Booking, the net price paid, after such redemption, will be used as the basis of comparison for a price match claim.

14.2 A successful price match claim does not generate additional loyalty points on the refunded or credited amount.

15. Appeal of a Declined Claim

15.1 A User whose claim is declined may request a single review of that decision, within 7 days of the decline notification, by providing any additional evidence addressing the stated reason for decline.

15.2 The outcome of a review under this Section is final and is not subject to further internal appeal, without prejudice to any statutory right the User may separately hold.
